  • “Safe at Home” Presentations – More than 260 senior citizens received information about the Home Modification ‘Safe At Home’ Initiative in a series of presentations at Senior Centers and Meals on Wheels sites during March, April and May of 2006. The leading cause of injury and death among seniors has been identified as falling at home. Materials and supplies for this outreach were funded by a National Council on Aging grant and coordinated by board member Casey Joyce.
